AutoProData Privacy Policy

AutoProData does not collect, store on our servers, sell or share your personal data. Everything the app reads from your vehicle stays on your phone. This policy explains what the AutoProData mobile app (“the App”), published by MTA Global Inc. (“we”, “us”), does with information.
Information processed on your device
The App connects by Bluetooth to an OBD-II adapter (ELM327 compatible) plugged into your vehicle. It reads:
- Live sensor values, such as engine speed, vehicle speed and coolant temperature.
- Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and their descriptions.
- Technical information about which vehicle control units respond.
This information is shown on screen and processed only on your device. The App saves a small technical file on your phone listing which control units responded, to speed up later connections. It contains no personal information and is deleted when you uninstall the App.
We do not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, location, contacts, photos or payment information.
Permissions

| Internet | Reserved for opening web links you choose. The App sends no vehicle or personal data over the internet. |
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings. Without Bluetooth, the App cannot connect to the adapter.
Links to third-party websites
On a trouble code, you can tap buttons that search for that code on Google, YouTube, Reddit or OBD-Codes.com. These open in your browser or the corresponding app, and only the trouble code is included in the search. Those services have their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
Data sharing and sale
We do not share, sell or rent any information to third parties, and the App contains no advertising or analytics tools.
Data security and retention
Because we do not collect your data, we hold none on our servers. Data on your device is protected by your device’s security. You can delete all App data by clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling it.
Children
The App is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide or delete, but you can contact us with any question.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the App starts collecting data, for example through optional AI features or user accounts, we will update this policy before that version is released and show the new effective date above. When required, we will ask for your consent in the App.
